About
Pre-Career Background
- I thought it was normal as a child that anytime I played with toys it was a movie or an episode in a series. Always a story. Shocked to learn later in life that it wasn't normal.
- My gateway to showbiz was playing Gollum in The Hobbit play when I was in 7th grade.
- Heavily involved in Theatre when I was young. Learned to direct actors and create a dramatic presentation through blocking and dialogue before I even began thinking about cameras and lighting.
- Wrote/directed 2 plays in high school as well as directed Arthur Miller's The Crucible to high acclaim my senior year. Won an award for my accomplishments.
- My first film was an action figure stop-motion of the duel of fates from Star Wars. I uploaded it to one of the earliest versions of YouTube. It had around 10k plays but I foolishly deleted the videos when I decided to pursue film as a career and didn't want people stumbling on old amateur work. I had a different idea of the internet at the time.
- Have always been involved and interested in Fine Arts. Was an avid drawer and painter. Won art awards in middle and high school. Enjoy visiting art museums regularly.
- Won 8 awards for being an overachiever during my time in film school.
- An instructor said my senior film was among the best things to come out of the film department. Won another award.
- My senior film premiered at the famous Trocadero Theatre in center city Philadelphia.
